What people get wrong about Switzerland
The flag question offers Denmark, Turkey and Georgia beside Switzerland. Denmark is a white cross on red too, but off-centre and running to the edges. Georgia is red crosses on white. Switzerland is square, with a short-armed white cross in the middle. The outline is shown beside Austria, Germany and France. Austria is the near miss: both are landlocked, both wide, both alpine. Switzerland is the smaller and rounder of the two.
The capital is Bern, and we ask it three ways: by name, as the federal city of a landlocked country, and through Liechtenstein, whose western neighbour and currency partner is Switzerland. Trivia asks the capital again, asks which of France, Germany, Switzerland and Spain does not use the euro, and asks for the currency, the franc. Explorer has the Matterhorn, the Eiger and Lake Lucerne marked easy. Then it gets specific: the Dom, the Weisshorn, the Finsteraarhorn, Piz Bernina, the Dufourspitze, Walensee, Lake Murten. If you can place the Aletschhorn, you can place anything in Europe.
