What people get wrong about France
The flag question puts the Netherlands, Italy and Ireland next to France. The Netherlands is the usual wrong answer. Both flags are red, white and blue; the Dutch one runs horizontally with red on top, the French one vertically with blue at the hoist. Italy and Ireland are vertical too, but they start with green. If the first stripe is blue, it is France.
The outline is a hexagon with Corsica below it, and we show it beside Spain, Germany and Belgium. Spain is the one people pick by mistake, since both are wide and both have a straight edge along the Pyrenees. The trivia asks which country spans the most time zones once its overseas territories count, and the answer is France, which surprises most players. Explorer goes to those territories too: Devil's Island, the Marquesas, Juan de Nova and Mount Pelée are all filed under France, and all are pinned thousands of kilometres from Paris.
